We believe in evangelism, discipleship, church multiplication and world missions. we are committed to reaching people in our community of Lapeer Michigan with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We live in a very busy world and it isn't easy to connect with people and make friends most of the time. But we would love to get acquainted with you one on one and invite you to a very loving and caring group of believers at New Hope Missionary church. At New Hope, we provide casual dress, contemporary praise music, friendly people and straight to the heart messages. Everyone that enters our doors is welcomed and there is no stranger at New Hope. With an outreached hand and a friendly smile, you will be greeted with open arms into a body of believers that are here to worship Jesus Christ.  Being a growing entity of a worldwide missionary church is truly giving us an opportunity, to share, grow, spread the gospel and help people in the community of Lapeer Michigan. Together as a body of believers, we are constantly striving to do things in our community that is both uplifting and challenging to the people. Where there is a need, we try to help, where there is a hurting heart, we welcome you in. Where is a soul in need, our doors are ALWAYS open.  New Hope also offers a wonderful contemporary praise service in song. From the newest praise songs like: I can only imagine, Here I am (Majesty) to the greatest of all times worship songs such as: Lord I lift your name on high, Let my words be few, More love more power and the list goes on. Here at New Hope, we strive to keep a positive rotation of songs for young and old, to come together and lift our voices in song unto the Lord in worship. Concerts, Jam sessions, Music in the Park festivals, and featuring on special occasions some of our own very talented musicians are just a few of the offerings from our praise team.  P astor Gerald Sims delivers messages that are understandable and inviting to knowledge of the bible. Through explanation, analogies, and visual aides at times, he reaches out to better equip us all with biblical writings , along with stories and facts that will help you to live a wonderful Joyous life in the Lord. Unlike most traditional service times, we at New Hope have decided to set our Worship Services on Saturday Evenings. This seems to work very well for most of our congregation as they can enjoy a full Sunday with the Family at home. Below is a listing of our Worship and Service times.
